Sennheiser supports the use of distributed antenna systems with a range of high-specification antenna combiners to allow wireless microphone coverage over multiple rooms and large or complex sites. With the increasing demand for “zone” systems in various situations including large churches, broadcast installations, outdoor sporting events and reality TV shows, Sennheiser‘s engineers have used this expertise to develop the ACA 3, a compact and easy to deploy 2 x 4:1 antenna combiner compatible with all analog and digital Sennheiser wireless stationary receivers operating in the supported frequency range of 470 to 798 MHz.
-
2 x 4:1 combiner at unity gain
-
Switchable DC supplied on each antenna input for head amps or active antennas, e.g. AB 3, AB 3700, A12AD, AB 9000
-
RF from each of the eight antenna inputs is switchable to isolate unused antennas
-
LEDs indicate input state; RF on, DC on and DC current overload (e.g. faulty ‘short circuit‘ antenna cable)
