The EMIX Manual Amplifier Changeover Unit main functionality is to allow for the manual switchover of a failed amplifier to a standby amplifier. The switchover process involves both audio input to the failed amplifier and 100V line output (load) of the failed amplifier. This basically means that the standby amplifier will be supporting all the functions of the failed amplifier after a switchover.

In addition, the EMMC-3368 can be cascaded to support 12 amplifiers with only a single standby amplifier. The EMMC-3368 Manual Amplifier Changeover can be easily integrated with other EMIX family of Public Announcement equipments without much change in the overall wiring and configuration, yet provides an effortless switchover process when necessary.
